The Illinois Research Development Community is a network that strengthens awareness of campus research resources, promotes activities and events, and ultimately helps to support the productive conduct of research at Illinois.

The Illinois research community is vibrant, but dispersed across multiple colleges and research institutes.

The Research Development Community, a campus-wide organization that supports the exceptional scholarship and research excellence that is the hallmark of the Illinois research enterprise, works to bridge departmental silos.

We collaborate, navigating institutional barriers to enhance information flow and share ideas and resources.

Our ultimate goal is to provide a superior level of support across the University’s scholarly community.
